“We provided them with a solid trade agreement, better than what I had to accept,” Trump remarked, addressing the state of their long-standing alliance.

He frequently targeted Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, noting his refusal to support the US-Israel conflict against Iran in late February. “It’s the bond where, when we sought assistance, they weren’t present. When we required them, they were absent. And when we didn’t need them, they still weren’t there,” he added, underscoring his disappointment.
Despite these critiques, Trump insisted the upcoming state visit by King Charles III and Queen Camilla would not be affected by the current discord. “I’ve known the King for a long time, and he’s not involved in that process,” he said, ensuring the visit would remain a priority.
