Victoria and David Beckham ‘want to draw a line’ under feud with son Brooklyn after extending emotional olive branch on his 27th birthday

Victoria and David Beckham seek to mend ties with son Brooklyn on his 27th birthday
Victoria and David Beckham have signaled their intent to move past the emotional rift with their eldest son Brooklyn, following a heartfelt gesture on his birthday. Despite Brooklyn’s earlier public accusations, friends insist the parents remain devoted to their son, regardless of the ongoing tension.
On Wednesday, the couple posted on Instagram to commemorate Brooklyn’s 27th birthday, offering a visible sign of reconciliation. David shared childhood images of Brooklyn, affectionately using his son’s nickname “Buster” in the caption: “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x.” Moments later, Victoria posted the same photo, expressing her love with the message: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.” She also included a separate image of herself smiling with her son, adorned with a trail of heart emojis.
“They’ve managed to set aside their differences and focus on the bigger picture—unconditional love for their son,” a source explained. “Even though the past few months have been tough, they’re determined to put things behind them.”
Brooklyn’s six-page Instagram statement, released over six weeks prior, had detailed his grievances against his parents, including claims of sabotage in his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Yet, despite the harsh words, his family has continued to show support. His grandfather Ted and grandmother Hilary also celebrated Brooklyn’s birthday by sharing photos of him alongside his wife, Nicola, and adding a personal touch with a loving message: “Happy birthday Brooklyn. Hope you have a fabulous day. With love from Grandad and Hilary.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s other brother Romeo posted a childhood throwback of the family without any accompanying text. His youngest sibling, Cruz, stayed silent on social media, while Victoria’s sister Louise Adams shared a tender photo of her daughter Libby and baby Brooklyn, highlighting the familial bonds.
David’s gesture marks his second attempt at reconciliation. Earlier in the year, he had posted a photo of teenage Brooklyn during a family roundup, captioning it: “I love you all so much.” This followed his estrangement from Brooklyn, which has been fueled by the latter’s criticism of the couple’s public image over family relationships. In January, Brooklyn accused his parents of prioritizing media appearances over personal connections, stating: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events, and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
Despite these claims, Brooklyn’s family has been consistently supportive. Friends noted that while the couple’s communication has largely occurred through social media, their affection for Brooklyn remains unwavering. The latest developments suggest that Brooklyn, now based in the U.S. with his wife Nicola Peltz, is gradually reconnecting with his grandfather, though his relationship with his parents still carries emotional weight.
Brooklyn and Nicola had previously missed David’s 50th birthday in May and were absent from Windsor Castle during the former footballer’s investiture on November 4. These absences underscored the distance between the family members, but recent interactions hint at a thawing of relations.
