Virgin Atlantic unveils its revamped lounge at Heathrow – with new cinema, work pods and SPA

Virgin Atlantic’s Heathrow Clubhouse Gets Major Upgrade
The airline has transformed its Clubhouse at London Heathrow, introducing a cinema zone, dedicated workspaces, and a wellness-focused spa. These additions aim to elevate the passenger experience with a blend of luxury and functionality.
Enhanced Amenities for Upper Class Guests
As part of an ongoing overhaul, Upper Class members now access premium features on the ground level. Plush seating and tailored services have been added to create a more immersive environment for travelers.
Exclusive Royal Box Experience
Emulating the vibe of a private theater, the new Royal Box area offers a secluded retreat with velvet sofas in Virgin’s signature red. This invite-only zone provides unobstructed views of the runway, framed by a unique ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’—a table showcasing gourmet desserts and sparkling wine.
Work Pod Studios for Productivity
Two modern work pod studios have been installed, designed for efficiency and comfort. Each space includes built-in power outlets, sleek desks, and illuminated ‘on air’ indicators to signal availability. Artistic touches like framed vinyl records pay homage to Virgin Records’ heritage.
Redesigned Gallery Space
The Clubhouse’s most popular area, the Gallery, has been reimagined to optimize space while preserving its breathtaking runway vistas. Decor elements reflect London’s transport history, with brass accents and vibrant red hues. Custom lighting and curated art installations by UK artists enhance the ambiance.
Wellness Pop-Ups for a Quick Reset
Guests can now experience limited-time wellness pop-ups, including manicures, massages, and facials. Three Somadomes—immersive wellness domes—offer free sessions until May 31. These self-guided spaces combine light therapy, sound healing, and meditation to promote calm and focus in under 20 minutes.
Spa Services and New Route Celebrations
The Secret Spa within the Clubhouse delivers express treatments like massages and facials, available through their team until April 30. To commemorate the new Seoul route, expert therapists will provide OSKIA skincare, OPI nail care, and K-beauty brand services.
“The Clubhouse remains a defining element of Virgin Atlantic’s identity, and this fresh chapter at Heathrow showcases our dedication to innovation,” said Juha Jaervinen, Chief Customer Officer. “By merging wellness, entertainment, and design, we’re setting a new standard for travelers. More surprises are in store, including new ways to enjoy plane spotting under London’s sun from our rooftop terrace.”
