Fourth suspect arrested over Jewish charity ambulance arson attack

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed the arrest of a fourth individual linked to the recent arson incident targeting ambulances owned by a Jewish charity in north London. The suspect was apprehended at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning, with police seen escorting him from the premises. The court revealed that four people were involved in the attack, though details about the fourth remain under investigation.

Three of the suspects, including two British men—Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19—alongside a 17-year-old boy with British-Pakistani heritage, appeared before the court this morning. They have been placed in custody pending further proceedings. All three face charges of arson with intent to damage property and acting recklessly in endangering lives.

“There is substantial evidence the attack was a premeditated and targeted assault on the Jewish community,” stated the court during its proceedings.

Earlier in the week, two men aged 45 and 47 were detained in relation to the case but released on bail until late April. The CPS has not yet disclosed the identity of the fourth suspect, emphasizing that the incident is part of a broader pattern of targeted violence. The ambulances, which were set ablaze, are associated with a community organization supporting Jewish initiatives in the region.
